Fault Escalation Rate

« Back to Glossary Index

The Fault Escalation Rate tracks the percentage of faults that must be escalated to higher support levels for resolution. This metric helps assess the competency of the initial response team and may indicate if additional training or process improvements are required. A low escalation rate (below 10%) shows that most faults are resolved at the first level of support.
