User Defined Module (UDM) allows operators to create custom SON functionalities tailored to their specific network needs. This feature offers flexibility for addressing unique challenges that standard SON modules may not cover. For instance, an operator can use UDM to develop a custom optimization algorithm for a specific geographic region with unique traffic patterns.
