Demands and Development of Open RAN

The telecom industry is going through significant changes driven by 5G, IoT, Cloud Computing, and an evolving and maturing Open RAN. Taking into account the fact that non-standardized vendor-specific interfaces and protocols are one of the biggest hurdles for autonomous and zero-touch concepts, even NBI interface standardization should be considered.
